Agile + DevOps And You
We are in an era where every technology business or company is asking developers if they are DevOps and know Agile Development methodology for a junior developer position. This talk is meant to contribute to a much-needed discussion on how developers can package themselves as DevOps with Agile skills.
In this talk I will discuss what is DevOps and Agile development, the implication of Agile key principles to DevOps and technology business and how developers can package themselves as DevOps around Agile methodology. I will take my company Apps:Lab KE as a case study during the talk.
Attendees should leave the room afterward with certain insight in how to package yourself as a DevOp, apply Agile development methodology at work and how to reply to “Do you know Agile?” or “Are you a DevOps?” questions.

My Bio
My name is Marvin Hosea, studied computer science at Moi University. Currently, I am the Lead at Apps:Lab Limited after previously working for other companies. I co-organize Android254 community events and DroidConKE.
Why am I the best person?
Apparently, I cannot anoint myself as the best person for this talk but I can firmly confirm that this talk is based on a combination of personal interviews experience and work experience after becoming Software developer and Lead at Apps:Lab and conducting developers interviews and working with Agile development methodology at our company.
