My name is Charley Stran, I work for a company called Oddball where we contract in the federal space. Mainly I work to help modernize the VA benefits processes. In my past life I worked in big media. I am a self taught engineer who has worked with rails since before it supported database migrations. I have worked as a contractor, for a public company, profitless startups, profitable startups, and those on the edge. My journey as taken me from the magic of Rails to the world of Rails is weak because if X, and back to Rails is, and will continue be, the platinum standard for most projects.
