Bio

Who am I?

Born in Chicago, raised in Dayton, I am a midwest boy. With both parents in education, learning was something I was raised to love. Moving to Dayton, I was fortunate enough to come across opportunities I may not have had. One of these opportunities was a position at the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) as a junior developer. I was working at UDRI during college, which ended with my Associates in Applied Sciences at Sinclair College. I currently work as a Web Developer at Crown Equipment.

I am a problem solver. Developing software is one of my outlets for problem-solving. Mainly developing web applications, my preferred language is JavaScript (mainly Angular and Node). I am currently developing an app to help solve the reading problem. The other outlet is entrepreneurship, in which I have launched BluPrint (discoverbluprint.com (shameless plug)), to help solve the issues that young artists are facing today.

Technology is amazing. The capabilities it can bring are immense, and I want to be a part of bringing it to everyone. There are others like myself, who come from marginalized communities, that have a locked door, preventing them from raising themselves up. Tech is the key to that lock.
