I am Dawn Eikmeier, Army Veteran, 6-year Racker, Fanatical Jacket winner, founding member of the Process Engineering Group (est. 2014) and Process Architect for Process Engineering group of CTO-Operations. For the majority of my career, I have worked in industries other than IT but used IT as a gateway to provide enterprise solutions. Evaluating as-is, gathering requirements, constructing and managing data, providing and implementing custom enterprise solutions…. sometimes by land, sometimes by sea, and sometimes by air, referring to my work on an Oil Refinery, an Alaskan Offshore Platform and the NASA Space Station in the 80s.
At Rackspace I was an integral part of the Newton orchestration and currently focus on business and device lifecycle automation including provisioning/decommissioning, fleet management, new product support and other enterprise level integrations. The Process Engineering Group supports over 1.5 million process executions across the business per month.
