I went from farmer to software engineer thanks to the professors at Purdue University, and though I have had a few dalliances over the wall in development land, the preponderance of my 20+ year career has been in test automation. From C, Perl, TCL and, yes, PHP, to Java, to Python, back somehow to TCL thanks to Jacl, back to Python though actually Jython, I finally caught the One True Religion of Robot Framework and work to spread its gospel. Which leaves me somehow, still, writing a lot of Python and obsessing even more over whitespace.
