How we built a go app that data-scientists... actually love!

By Almog Baku

Elevator Pitch

In this session, we’ll present to Raptor open-source project(non-commercial).

Raptor is a kubernetes extension(built with go), that “compiles” the data-scientists pythonic work to a production-scale.

This session is mostly about the complex architecture.

Description

In the session, we’ll go through the challenges we had and how we solved them: 1. Buiding the go computation engine (building production data lineage, extensibility and online aggregations) 2. K8s extension? the why and how 3. From python to go 4. Demo 5. It’s an open source. Join and help us!

Notes

There is no company at the moment behind Raptor. It’s a purely apache-2 open-source project :P
