Bio
Amanieu has a passion for low-level coding, often delving down the level of assembly code (and beyond!) in pursuit of maximal performance. His specialty is binary translation, on which he wrote his PhD dissertation and subsequently founded a startup to continue working on the technology. Amanieu now works at the Huawei Ireland Research Center on improving the Rust language and promoting its use within Huawei. Amanieu joined the Rust library team in 2019 and leads the Rust inline assembly working group.
