Bio
Malene Jacobsen is one of the few people that have never done a Waterfall project. She was taught Agile/Scrum from the first day of her education in Advanced Computer Science and since then it has become a natural way of thinking both in her work and private life. Malene fully lives up to the saying: you don’t do agile, you become agile!
Malene started her professional career as a Developer. In her career, she has fulfilled all Scrum roles: Developer, Product Owner, and Scrum Master. She has dedicated her career to empowering people to be the best version of themselves, and challenging companies to create the right environment for these people to thrive. She is currently doing this as the Agile Practice Lead for Old Mutual in South Africa.
