Creating responsive images for the web

By Tobi Ajibade

Elevator Pitch

Good day, my name is Ajibade, Tobi I’m a front-end web developer and a software engineering enthusiast. I’m very much interested in speaking at the event. It will be an avenue for me to share my knowledge on front-end topics.

Description

The idea of having the browser resize images has been a key part of responsive web design from the beginning. A problem we all face when talking about responsive images is how to provide solutions for inline images. When you start looking at responsive images solutions, it can be overwhelming to figure out which solution works best for your image. The key to knowing what solution will work best is to know what use case you’re solving for. Join me Ajibade, Tobi as we all analyse the best solution for creating responsive images on the web.

Notes

Been a front-web developer, have been doing research on how to work with images, during my research i find out about different use cases which is a solution to the stated problem(i.e how to create responsive images), knowing these use cases help in determining what solution works best : either allowing the browser to make smart decisions or making sure the browser uses a specific image at a breakpoints. I will be happy to share these knowledge with you.
