Bio
My name is Daniël Zuthof. I’m working at Equinix Managed Service in The Netherlands as a Technical Architect and have almost 25 years of experience in IT in various roles. Equinix provides datacenter, connectivity and bare metal services to customers worldwide, but also has a large portfolio of managed services.
My focus at work is about steady improvement of our services and increasing customer value by using Equinix’s global portfolio, which consist of Metal, Fabric, Network Edge and Internet Exchange. Combining them with (VMware) products like NSX, Cloud Director, vSphere and various storage solutions brings out the best in each other. Another great part of my job are the customer engagements to solve their business and IT challenges.
As a part of personal development, I took on the challenge in 2016 to become a VCDX and succeeded after a tough year. That year I became VCDX #235 and was absolutely delighted with it. Because of the joy of sharing knowledge, I started blogging in late 2019 after being a vExpert for a couple of years.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running and riding my motorcycle and road bike.
