I’m just another kid with a computer, or at least I was in 1983. I had a paper route and a little money burning a hole in my pocket. I went to my aunt, who had worked in Silicon Valley for years, and asked her, “I’m thinking about buying either a computer or a guitar. What do you think I should do?” Over 30 years later I’m still working in software, so you can probably guess what I did.
Today I’m the Director of Consulting at ZEAL. We collaborate with established companies to help them build solutions that advance their business in the direction they’re trying to go.
When I’m not at work, I’m still at the computer working on projects in Unity. Sometimes I’m developing games, but lately I’m putting my attention into AR and VR. I really believe that over the next decade we’ll see these technologies appear in our world in surprising ways, much like we’ve watched the internet permeate our culture over the last decade.
