Basic Docker Workshop - Dockerize your Python application

I will show you what is Docker, why it can help you more than you think, making project setup, development and deployment simpler and easier. I have made this tutorial in PyCon Brasil previously and it was awesome! \o/

In this workshop you will dockerize a simple Python App to understand how it can be applied for a lot of different situations and avoid the “works in my machine” scenario. I will focus in a practical way that you can use it in your future projects.

In the last few years I’ve been working with Docker, giving talks and teaching people how it could be used to make easier the common problems in development environments. Take a look at my Github and my LinkedIn to check what I’ve already done. I have experience teaching people that hadn’t any contact with code in several Django Girls editions and AfroPython in Brasil.
