By Ivan Jovanovic

Elevator Pitch

Serverless, the buzzword that we’re hearing probably every day. What’s that exactly? Serverless is the way microservices should be. It will save you money, time, and you will be able to easily build, test and deploy your applications. Serverless is here to stay, let’s learn how to use it!

Description

This talk is about serverless microservices, why to use them, how to use them and how can they change the way we develop software. What are the pros and cons? What are the options? I’ll mainly talk about AWS Lambda service and the AWS stack, but nowadays other companies like Azure start to offer their serverless services.

This talk covers the following parts: 1. Introduction to serverless 2. Pros and cons 3. How to use NodeJS and to write serverless apps? 4. What are some good architecture patterns? 5. Examples

I’ll try to show a lot of real examples and maybe do some live coding.
