Bio

Jon Fukuda is a design and UX industry leader with over 20 years of experience in UX strategy, design thinking and UI design. As the co-founder and principal of Limina, a UX design and development consultancy, he works directly with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to design intuitive, integrated digital user experiences and simplify complex human-to-computer interactions. He is responsible for the national expansion of Limina and its leadership position in designing and building software products and services that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users.

Jon got into UX in 1998 as a systems integrator, translating business, user, and system requirements into UX artifacts for technical teams to implement. At the time there were no blueprints, we were literally defining these models as we practiced them, writing our own methodology for UX best practice. Over time, this became the backbone of his company, Limina, which was founded in 2003.

Jon presents regularly to large groups at meetups and startup-weeks, to Fortune 500 companies and federal government agencies, is a guest speaker on podcasts, and has frequent briefings with media and analysts. He thrives on using human-centered research and design techniques to solve complex problems.

Jon holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design.
