Building Resilient Web APIs with .NET Core 2.1

By Nicholas Myers

Elevator Pitch

Resilience - the capacity to recover quickly; toughness. Would you describe your web application backend as being resilient or fragile? In this session, we will use a mix of design patterns and open-source libraries to create a resilient, real world application on .NET Core.

Description

Resilience is defined as the capacity to recover quickly. Would you describe your web application backend as being resilient or fragile? In this session, we will use a mix of design patterns and open-source libraries to create a resilient, real world application on .NET Core 2.1. Attendees will leave this session empowered with knowledge and the tools necessary to add resiliency to their applications!

Notes

I gave this talk to the BHM.NET user group, and it was well received. Based on overwhelming positive feedback, I believe developers are interested in learning how to build resiliency into their applications.
