Docker can be intimidating yes. I remember my horror when we had to use Docker in my company. This talk is meant to target new users. It’s designed to show you how Docker can actually help you build portable applications.

The talk will also pinpoints times were using Docker is inappropriate.

Docker

It is easy to see Docker as a Kraken; a beast that cannot be tamed. However, using Docker is easy and this talk will guide you through how to builds your next application using Docker.

The talk will also talk about how you can use Docker in deployment, local environment and how a few commands can get your application and it’s stack fully set up using Docker.

Finally, it will talk about times were using Docker is unnecessary and a problem in fact. How it can bring problems when you’re trying to solve scaling issues.

The talk does not have a high technical requirement. I have been developing for over 12 years and I believe I will be suited to give this talk.
