Samuel is the co-founder & CTO of NuMind, an AI startup specialized in information extraction. NuMind’s flagship products include the NuExtract platform and the open-source models NuExtract and NuMarkdown.
After completing a PhD in Distributed Systems, Samuel transitioned from academia to industry, joining a fast-growing scale-up as a software engineer. There, he gained hands-on experience building cutting-edge software and data infrastructures. Over the years, he refined his expertise in DevOps/DataOps and became an accomplished leader in tech team management.
Samuel has been an early employee of Criteo, the Technology Innovation leader at S4M, the co-founder CTO at Make.org, and an independent coach/advisor of start-ups & data teams. Today, he leverages his unique blend of research background, engineering excellence, and entrepreneurial experience to shape the future of AI-driven information extraction at NuMind.
