I am a Linux Support Technician and a SSL Subject Matter Expert. I was born & raised in Los Angeles, where I grew up and spent most of my life. I came to San Antonio 15 years ago and fell in love with the city and the culture. I am married and have 2 wonderful boys, who take after me in a lot of ways. We are a musical family. I play piano& sing, while my kids play violin. I love making music with them!

I started on my technical Journey back in 2001, when I took an A+ Certification course. Back then it wasn’t what it is now, so I expanded my own knowledge using an Overclocker’s discusson board. Although it was difficult to get my door in the IT field, I still kept up with my knowledge as I enjoyed doing it on my own time. This knowledge has helped me when I started doing Call Center Technical Support work for telecommunications companies like Earthlink, AT&T U-Verse, Verizon FiOS, Spectrum, and Frontier. The technical knowledge, as well as that experience, helped me get into Rackspace in 2018.

I started as a Support Technician I, and have been building knowledge and skills throughout my time here at Rackspace. I became a SSL SME in October 2018, and transitioned into the Support Technician II - Linux role in December 2018. With the Shift Left project, the role transitioned into the Linux Systems Operations Administrator Role in August 2020. In December 2021, I was promoted to Site Reliability Engineer, where I continue to learn & grow my skills.
