Bio

Steve is a respected and practiced Agile Trainer, Coaching Mentor, and Open Space Technology Guide. He takes a people-first, facilitative, strategic approach to helping people work together so they can make an impact with grace and speed. Steve holds space for agility by trusting people and enabling them to give voice to the system. At the same time, he offers coaching and mentorship in the pragmatic practices and tools that help people develop lean and agile mindsets and skillsets.

Steve’s coaching strengths are product development, facilitative leadership, and the learning journey of fluent agile teams. He’s a practiced leader on enabling communication that makes a difference with Open Space Technology, and Agile Chartering. Knowing that today’s team rooms are located virtually in the sky, he’s become adept at facilitating outcome-based collaboration that is thriving and alive whether the group is meeting face-to-face or interconnected across the world.

Steve lives in Zurich, Switzerland and travels the world. He enjoys the friendly Swiss summers and the sunny beaches of Cape Town, South Africa. He hopes to do a 3-month volunteer turn with SANCCOB (South African Foundation for the Conservation Of Coastal Birds) rescuing Northern Rock Hoppers and helping the endangered South African Black Foot penguin survive the impact of human activities on their habitat.
