2020年3月18日~20日に開催される try! Swift Tokyo 2020のLightning Talk 応募フォームです。 下記の要項をよくお読みになって、ご応募ください。

応募期限

2020/1/8(水) 深夜まで

応募資格

• try! Swift Tokyo 2020の参加者（チケットを持っていること）
• 応募時点では必ずしも持っている必要はありませんが、採択時にこちらからチケット保有の確認のご連絡をいたします。

形式

10分間のショートプレゼンテーション

言語

• 英語 or 日本語
• 英語圏からの参加者が多数来訪されることが予想されるので、英語での発表を推奨しています
  • 日本語・英語の通訳をつけます。
  • 昨年、英語圏からの参加者は約200人の参加実績があります

内容

try! Swift Tokyoでトークがなされることで、周りの開発者と議論したり、専門性を深めることができるようなトピックを募集します。

• Swiftの言語仕様や今後導入予定のトピック
• Swiftや関連ツールへのコントリビューションの体験談
• iOS / macOSアプリケーションなどSwiftを使ったプロダクトにおいて工夫したこと
• OSSにおいて克服した技術的な課題
• その他のトピックについても専門性があり、他では聞けないような話

選考とタイムライン

try! Swift Tokyo 2020の主催者による選考をおこないます。選考の際には、10分間で話すことができそうかも考慮します。

• 1/8 Lightning Talk募集締め切り
• 1/22 - 23 トーク採択者への通知
• 2/1 タイムテーブル公開

• 一人で複数のCfPを応募することも可能です。ぜひ奮ってご応募ください。
• Co-presenterの項目がありますが、登壇はお一人で行っていただきます。

The try! Swift conference will take place in Tokyo with talks from community experts held on March 18th and 19th, and additional Peer Labs and Workshops on March 20th. Attendees have the option to submit a lightning talk to be held during the conference. Please read the details below and submit your lighting talk using this form:

Wednesday, January 8th at midnight (JST)

Qualifications

You must be attending try! Swift Tokyo 2020. We’ll ask to see your ticket if your talk is selected.

Format

10-minute Lightning Talk

Language

Japanese or English

Topics

We’re looking for topics that will provoke discussions between other attendees at try! Swift Tokyo, that show a deep understanding for the topic being discussed.

• Swift language specification or future releases
• Your contributions to Swift lang or related tools
• Things you discovered when creating your iOS/ macOS app in Swift
• Technical challenges you ovecame while working on OSS
• Other related topics has unique perspectives and experiences that can not be heard elsewhere.

Process and Timeline:

Once the submission phase is closed, the organizers will review all the papers and announce which talks will be presented at try! Swift Tokyo 2020. In selection, we’ll also consider whether we think the talk can be completed within 10 minutes you.

• You can submit multiple CfPs. We are eagerly awaiting your entries.
• PaperCall has co-speaker section but we only accept one-person talk.
