Big Data & AI Conference is an inaugural event intended to draw all players big and small in the Big Data and AI communities to a 3-day event running from June 27 - 29, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. Day 1 of the 3-day event will be devoted to training sessions and workshops, while the last two days will be for general conference sessions.

Broadly, the goal of the plenary conference sessions is to provide a forum where company and institutional representatives share the current state of adoption of Big Data and AI technologies in their organizations, what their future trajectories are and the consequences to humans and human activities. For the training sessions and workshops on Day 1, we’ll be providing developers and the more technically-inclined opportunities to get first-hand experience with AI and quantum computing technologies from some very innovative companies.

CFP Description

Big Data & AI Conference is an inaugural event devoted to two fast-evolving technology segments. As such we’re looking for presentations from established companies that show how these technologies are being used to boost existing and new business practices, and also from startups that are using the technologies to extend the boundaries of what we think is possible. Ultimately, the focus is on the positive uses of Big Data and AI, in line with the theme of the conference - Big Data and AI for the common good.

Attendees will include employees and management of startups, established companies, and university researchers, with a liberal sprinkling of graduate and undergraduate students pursuing exciting research projects.

A non-exhaustive list of topics that we would like to see represented in the responses to this Call for Presentations follows:

  • Big Data and Big Data Analytics
  • Autonomous and connected vehicles
  • Machine Learning
  • Deep Learning
  • Natural Language Processing
  • Facial Recognition
  • Virtual Assistants and Bots
  • Neuromorphic Computing
  • Neurorobotics
  • Neuroinformatics
  • Robotics
  • Robotic Process Automation
  • Smart Cities
  • IoT
  • 5G
  • Quantum Computing

If you have a presentation that does not quite fit into any of the above topics but is about Big Data and AI, do not hesitate to submit it. If it’s exciting and forward-looking, with potential to do good by humans, we’ll consider it. Keep in mind that each presentation should be no more than 20 minutes long. And because the conference organizers will not offer any travel assistance, try to convince your company to sponsor you.
