4-5 May 2017 DevOpsDays Austin is in its sixth year! This year is our Reunion Tour of DevOps with many of the original DevOps luminaries joining us. This year we expect great talks, our world-known friendly crowd, and general awesomeness. And this year is no exception. We are keeping the event at our “everything’s bigger in Texas” venue, the Darrell K. Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium on the University of Texas campus.
At DevOpsDays Austin, the mornings will be for keynotes and lightning talks from experienced DevOps practitioners from here in Austin as well as leading minds from around the world. Then the afternoons are will be a mix of multi-track content and open spaces running in parallel. Think of open spaces as birds of a feather gatherings where we talk about what YOU want to talk about!
We are looking for bleeding edge DevOps content in the areas of:
- Modern Infra Approaches
- Continuous Delivery
- Security + DevOps
- Culture Research
There are two types of proposals:
A session talk/panel proposal is for a 35 minute session and is featured in the content tracks during the afternoon of the conference.
An ignite talk that will be presented during the mid-day Ignite sessions. These are 5 minutes slots with slides changing every 15 seconds (20 slides total) which is presented to all attendees in one room
BONUS! If you don’t want to do a traditional talk, we also have open space sessions! We welcome discussion and interaction by having people propose a session on the fly during the Open Space Opening. There is no need to submit via this form and please just come ready to discuss at the conference.
