As edge use-cases proliferate, containers and Kubernetes have become compelling technologies for edge computing. Computing on the Edge with Kubernetes brings together thought leaders, technologies, and customers across the entire Kubernetes ecosystem to share their knowledge and insight. Join us for a day of great content and engagement including how-to sessions, end-user stories, a virtual expo hall and many opportunities for discussion and engagement with your peers.

Requirements

  1. Any platforms or tools you are describing need to be open source.
  2. You are limited to submitting up to two proposals.

Consider the Following as You Write Your Proposal

  1. Your goal is to educate the audience on a topic or generate interest in a project
  2. What will the audience learn from your presentation?
  3. Please, no sales or marketing pitches, nor unlicensed or potentially closed-source technologies

The submission process is very straightforward. Here is what you will need to prepare:

1. Choose your submission format:

  • Case-Study: 30-minute presentation focused on customer case studies. If you are an end-user and would like to share your Kubernetes edge story, select this format

  • Product / Technology: 30-minute, in-depth, hands-on presentation featuring your product, project, or technology.

  • Community Projects: in-flight, or net-new

2. Choose a topic to narrow down the focus:

  • a. 101 – general introduction to Kubernetes edge concepts

  • b. Application Development

  • c. Architecture

  • d. Certified Distributions

  • e. Embedded Systems

  • f. Machine Learning & Data

  • g. Public sector

  • h. Runtimes

  • i. Security

  • j. Serverless

  • k. Storage

  • l. Vertical (e.g. Automotive, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Telco)

3. Provide a detailed and focused description (max of 900 characters).

4. Provide a biography for all speakers, including :

  • Headshot

  • Company or organization

  • Title

  • Bio including previous speaking experience (max 150 words)

All selected session will be pre-recorded. If your session is selected the Edge Conference team will reach out to you directly with details on how to record and submit your recording.
