A one day conference by the frontend maniacs, for the front-end maniacs. FrontMania is here to help passionate frontend developers get inspired and learn the old bag of tricks and shiny new trends on the frontend world. And have a blast while doing so.

In the center of the old city of Utrecht, FrontMen and Rabobank are joining hands with the frontend community to bring a day of knowledge sharing for the front-end maniacs.

The event is not just about learning new things. But also about imparting our passion and enthusiasm. Communicating the fun in the frontend development. So, by the end of the day, our audience, besides having learned new things, will leave re-motivated and thrilled to be a part of the front-end development world.

FrontMania will be held at 16th of November at Rabobank, Utrecht, The Netherlands.

We expect an audience of ~300 developers. This offers a nice opportunity for you to reach out and influence a large audience of frontend developers. If you are interested, please submit your motivation, subject and your bio. We have 45 and 20 minutes talk. Please specify what you prefer.

We’re open to a wide range of topics; we’re particularly interested in talks that somewhat fit in the spectrum of:

• Cutting-edge advancements in the world of Frontend
• Wild Maniac Ideas or Clever Hacks
• JavaScript-powered audio and/or visuals
• Making art with JavaScript or CSS
• Being a Better (Frontend) Developer
• And finally: surprise us with your creativity!

Guidelines

Please submit your abstract before August 31th 2018.

All talks are in English.

There will be talks of 20 and 45 minutes long. Afterward, there will be time for Q&A in the lab room. We will be on a tight schedule so please time your presentation in advance.

Make sure you care about the content. Typos, sloppy formatting and all-lowercase submissions make our reading of your proposal tedious. These things will definitely count against your proposal.

Don’t overdo it either. If you need more than two paragraphs to get to the point of your topic, we will probably need to ask you to slim things down. In general with submissions we receive, the quicker you can to make a good impression, the better!
