The 2016 Little Rock Tech Fest Conference is the 4th year being hosted in Central Arkansas. This year’s conference will be on Oct 20th and 21st at the Little Rock StateHouse Convention Center. The conference has grown every and this year is no exception with it’s focus on bring more content, networking, and learning in a 2 day format.

We are primarily looking for 30 minutes sessions (with 10 minute Q&A afterwards) . We will be running 3 tracks at one time throughout both days. We are also looking at providing longer workshop sessions (1 to 1.5 hour) for more in-depth coverage of topics.

Ideas for topics may include, but aren’t limited to: web, cloud, database, soft skills, life as a developer, and devops.

Travel reimbursement is not provided. We can provide Hotel Rooms for up to 2 nights if financial needed by the speaker.


CFP Description

The LRTF Conference is focused on software developer topics that help keep developers educated and relevant to what’s coming out. The format of our talks will be 30 minute sessions with 10 minutes Q&A. We are also looking for a few CFP’s that are 1 to 1.5 hour workshops for more in depth coverage of a topic. And finally we are looking at filling a time slot will lightening talks (10 minutes).

Possible Topics may include: New Language Features Software Development Methodologies Soft-Skills for developers Web development Mobile development Cloud development Database development Devops and how it affects developers

Possible Topics for lightening talks: Show off your side project Development techniques Interesting developer stories Introductions to a new library

Our audience is primarily made of up professional software developers.

We will begin notifying speakers of acceptance no later then August 1st, if not sooner. We do not offer travel-reimbursement. We can provided up to 2 nights hotel room if needed.

We also will be hosting a speakers dinners either on Oct. 19th or Oct. 20th.
