CFP Sections

Title

What shall we call your talk?

Abstract

The abstract section is where you can provide us with the short, elevator pitch for your talk. This section is likely also what we will use to highlight your talk on the conference web site.

Description

The description section is where you can give us the low-level details of your talk. You can provide details to us such as the talk outline, a description of demonstrations you might end up doing, etc. You can also provide us with links to other talks you’ve given, videos, etc… anything that you think will help us select you!

How It Works

You can submit multiple proposals and edit them within the CFP window. We will also be available via Twitter (@nejsconf) and email for questions regarding your proposal submissions.

When the CFP closes, the NEJS CONF organizers will review and rate each proposal submitted and select the best talks that fit in with our other planned activities, such as keynotes, and the overall theme of the conference. If your talk is selected, you will receive:

  • A free ticket to NEJS CONF
  • An invite to a speaker dinner the evening before the conference (Thursday, July 20th, 2017)
  • A two-night stay in downtown Omaha, Nebraska
  • Reimbursement for travel expenses to and from the conference

If you purchase a ticket to NEJS CONF, when they become available, and your talk is selected, we will also reimburse you for that purchased ticket.

NEJS CONF enforces a Code of Conduct and expects all speakers and attendees to review and abide by it. If you have any questions or issues, don’t hesitate to contact the organizers on Twitter and email.
