What is NG-Caribe?

NG-Caribe 2020 will be the first Angular event in the region! As always this event will be focused on teaching, educating, and elevating each of the Angular/Web developers in attendance. We will have sessions about the latest version of Angular and other related technologies. Since this has a community-driven conference format whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or expert, this will be the best opportunity to share your experiences and inter. A conference ticket includes one day of intense sessions, and non-stop network opportunities. Can’t wait to see you there!

We expect 400 attendees in this conference, with people from multiple communities as well as international audiences.

Our organizing team is a collaboration between multiple local community leaders (ngDominican, GDG & Fria.js) joining forces together. We’ve been running various independent local conferences and meetups for the past years. Our biggest local conference so far was Devfest Santo Domingo 2019, a 350-people in a two days conference. Now we’re on a mission to take it to the next level and include everything related to Angular and the Web!

CFP Description

If you’re passionate about Angular and want to share your expertise with the community then we’d love to hear it. Your participation will make possible #ngconfcaribe2020 the first Angular conference in the Caribbean to be a blast.

We’re looking for both experienced speakers and freshies to share your experience with us! The majority of our talks will be selected through CFP, while we have sessions reserved for the keynote speakers.

You don’t have to be a guru/expert to give a talk — we are here to help! If you have an interesting story to share, we would love to hear from you. Need help in preparing your talk? We can help mentor you!

We aim to be inclusive and we welcome proposals from everyone. We will evaluate the proposal contents based on its merit, regardless of the speaker’s ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, etc. Your submissions will be anonymous and we will not see your “Profile Details” to give everyone an equal chance. For this reason, please do not put any identifying information in any field under the “Talk Details” section, as this would subvert the whole process.
