PowerShell Conference Asia 2019 is coming to Bangalore/India September 19-21, 2019. It is the perfect place for DevOps practitioners, Automation Ninjas, PowerShell experts, PowerShell team members, and PowerShell passionates from across the globe to come together.

Who attends PSConf?

Anyone who is enthusiastic about solving problems using automation and embracing the DevOps mindset. PowerShell is a glue language and this conference aims to achieve something similar by bringing in people from different facets of technology together and share.

Who are we looking for?

PSConfAsia, as the name suggests, is not only a premier event to talk about PowerShell in Asia but also how it could be used in conjunction with various other technologies to make life easier for both Developers & Operations teams. We are looking for people, who are leveraging PowerShell to solve problems in any space e.g. Cloud, Datacenter, Edge, IoT etc.

The Essentials

PSConf Asia 2019 will be hosted in Bangalore India from September 19 to 21, and the deadline for submissions is February 28th, 2019 at 11:00 PM UTC.

Preconference Workshop and Deep Dive Sessions

September 19th is reserved for the 2 x full day pre-conference workshops and 6 x PowerShell Deep Dive Preconf talks.

Conference Talks

The main conference is scheduled to happen on September 20th and 21st. There will be multiple simultaneous tracks per day including a Keynote on day 1.

Session Tracks

Below are the different session tracks, we will be running in parallel during the conference.

DevOps

Includes sessions related to applying proven software engineering practices in/with PowerShell e.g. InfraAsCode, Build/Release, Testing etc.

Automation

Includes sessions pertaining to automating infrastructure (Cloud, on-premise, Hybrid, IoT, Edge etc) using PowerShell. Also, anything relating to showcasing anything related to PowerShell or automating any product with PS e.g. Office365 automation, generating reports etc.

Co-presenting sessions

If you would like to co-present your session, you can include the name, contact details (email/twitter/linkedin) and bio of the presenter in the field in the notes field. The co-presenter does not have to submit the same session.

Session types

We have the following type of sessions you can submit for:

  • Talk (30-45 mins)- This is an ideal talk type to share something new you have learned or how to do something with PowerShell or to share how you have solved an interesting problem at work.
  • Lightning Talk (10-15 mins) - This talk type is to quickly showcase your cool ideas, opensource projects or lessons learned.
  • WorkShop - Submit for this talk type if interested in taking a pre-conference day workshop While we are not offering travel assistance, but PSConf Speakers will receive a complimentary pass to the conference and hotel accommodations.
  • Pre-conf Deep Dive Talks - Submit for this type of talk if you have some in-depth content related PowerShell based automation and DevOps. Note that this requires you to be at the event on the pre-conference day.
