RubyConf Portugal takes place in Braga, a historic city in the North of Portugal.
The last two editions were a huge success and we are now aiming for a bigger and bolder event this time around. We will have a diverse, curated speaker roster, as well as sponsors and attendees from all over the globe.
Last year we had around 250 attendees. This year, we’re aiming at 300 enthusiastic developers to come for RubyConf Portugal!
We’re looking for all kinds of talks, from technical talks to the more high-level ones, from Ruby to other programming languages or web technologies, from experienced to first-time speakers. If you believe you have something interesting to share with the Ruby community, then go for it. We will evaluate all proposals with the utmost care.
Our Code of Conduct is live on our website (this still links to last year’s website, because we’re still in the process of updating it, but the link will remain the same, and the new website will be up in the next few days)
- Each talk is 30min (+ 10min questions, if you’re willing to take them).
- All talks will be in English.
- The CFP closes on the 15th of July, but we may select some talks before then.
- Selected talks will be announced in the last week of July.
