Bio

Steinke is an industry-recognized Jane-of-all-trades and hands-on expert security technologist, specializing in strategic and tactical architectures. She’s an expert in developing solutions, providing strategic direction, and directing cybersecurity operations on a multi-national scale across multiple industries within the federal and private sectors.

Steinke led global security technology efforts within the Health Care and Financial industries, in Automotive and Mobile Security, Banknote Processing Systems, Electronic Payments, eSIM, and IoT Technologies. She stood up and directed multiple 24/7 Security Operation Centers (SOC), Network Operation Centers (NOC), Data Centers, and management of virtualized storage technologies and elastic cloud environments.

Her technical career began 20 years ago in Networks and Systems Engineering, where she crossed into Cybersecurity. She specializes in multiple program areas from Security Engineering & Architecture, Computer Network Defense (CND), Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Adversarial Assessments, Insider Threat, Threat Intelligence, Threat Modeling, Threat Hunting, Incident Detection & Response, with deep expertise in Policy, Governance & Compliance, across industry sectors.

Steinke holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BS IT), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and is pursuing a Master’s in Applied Intelligence from Mercyhurst University. When she’s not being a geek, she enjoys training and racing Ironman triathlons.
