Hector Morales is a Senior WW Technology Solutions Architect, responsible of Cloud Collaboration and Enterprise Switching Architectures and Solutions for Global Service Provider organization. He supports sales engineering and business development on Next Generation Solutions, Architectures and Service Creation on Collaboration and EN Switching. He has broad experience in large-scale Service Provider projects as lead architect for Cloud Solutions as well as in Cloud Native Applications architectures and microservices solutions using Container technologies. Hector has been an active Openstack Member since 2014, he has contributed to DevNet as Exam Developer on Network Programmability and he is the WW tech leader for Business Services field community for Service Providers.
Hector has been a Cisco Live speaker in Cloud, DevNet and Collaboration Technologies, where he has been awarded as Distinguished Speaker in Cisco Live Cancun 2016. Currently he also serves as General Chair in Applications for Future Internet Organization in the European Alliance for Innovation. He holds a BS on Electrical Engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico and a MBA on International Business from Thunderbird School of Management, Arizona State University.
