Who is Pete Brown? I’m an ordinary systems engineer who has developed an extraordinary fascination with leveraging backup data. In the last 17 years I’ve supported technical areas ranging from basic system administration to messaging, database, virtualization, networking and telephony. I’ve found that backups from most software products provide little value outside of DR situations. As a result, I’ve spent a great deal of time writing processes which provide brick-level access to backup sets from various network and UC related products.
