CONDICIONES GENERALES

• Al enviar una propuesta de presentación, el ponente se compromete a acatar todas las condiciones expresadas en este “Call for Speakers”.
• Las ponencias no podrán tener carácter comercial, ni promocionar empresas, productos o servicios. Las presentaciones de este tipo serán rechazadas.
• El Comité Organizador facilitará una plantilla de Microsoft PowerPoint a los ponentes que resulten seleccionados, la cual deberán utilizar para realizar su presentación. El Comité Organizador revisará todas las presentaciones, y podrá solicitar las modificaciones que considere necesarias.
• La presentación no podrá contener otros logos ni marcas comerciales distintos a los del Capítulo de Madrid, España del PMI, salvo en aquellas diapositivas que estrictamente lo requieran como parte del contenido (referencias a casos de éxito/fracaso, por ejemplo).
• Los ponentes seleccionados no recibirán compensación económica por su participación en el evento. Los ponentes se verán beneficiados por su participación en el evento, gracias a la difusión que tendrá a nivel internacional.
• El Comité Evaluador será designado por el Comité Organizador.
• El Comité Organizador informará a todos los solicitantes del resultado del proceso de selección (aprobados o rechazados).
• No se publicarán los resultados de la valoración de las solicitudes.No podemos ofrecer respuestas individualizadas a las ponencias rechazadas.
• Se aceptará un máximo de dos propuestas de una misma persona. En estos casos, solo podrá presentar una de ellas, la que resulte mejor valorada por el Comité Evaluador.
• Cada ponente que sea incluido en la Agenda disfrutará de un pase gratuito al evento, y un pase gratuito adicional para un invitado de su elección.

CRITERIOS DE VALORACIÓN

Para seleccionar las ponencias y talleres del XIII Congreso de Directores de Proyectos, el Comité Evaluador considerará los siguientes criterios:

• Experiencia del ponente como orador.
• Claridad en la descripción del tema a tratar.
• Alineación con los temas clave del congreso.
• Actualidad del tema propuesto.
• Relevancia del tema para la profesión del Director de Proyectos.
• Mecanismos de interacción y participación de los asistentes.
• Objetivos de aprendizaje.

FECHAS

• Inicio del plazo para presentación de solicitudes: 30 de junio de 2016.
• Cierre del plazo para presentación de solicitudes: 15 de agosto de 2016.
• Anuncio de selección de ponentes: 14 de septiembre de 2016.
• Envío de fichero PPT con la ponencia, para revisión: 14 de octubre de 2016.
• Solicitud de correcciones al PPT con la ponencia (si es necesario): 28 de octubre de 2016.
• Plazo para presentar las correcciones solicitadas a la ponencia: 11 de noviembre de 2016.
• Fecha del XIII Congreso de Directores de Proyectos: 24 de Noviembre de 2016.

IDIOMA

• Se aceptarán propuestas de presentación y talleres tanto en castellano como en inglés (sólo si el idioma nativo del presentador es distinto al castellano).

GRABACIÓN EN VIDEO

• Los ponentes seleccionados deberán firmar un documento de cesión gratuita de derechos de imagen al Capítulo de Madrid, España del Project Management Institute, que realizará la grabación del evento y su difusión por redes sociales.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• By submitting a presentation proposal, the speaker agrees to abide by all conditions expressed in this “Call for Speakers”.
• Papers can’t be of a commercial nature, nor promote any business, product or service. Submissions of this type will be rejected.
• The Organizing Committee will provide a Microsoft PowerPoint template to the selected speakers, which shall be used for presentation. The Organizing Committee will review all submissions, and may request changes it deems necessary.
• The presentation may not contain neither logos nor trademarks other than those of the PMI Madrid, Spain Chapter, except for those slides that strictly require it as part of the content (references to cases of success / failure, for example).
• Selected presenters will not receive any compensation for their participation in the event. The speakers will benefit from their participation in the event, thanks to the event’s publicity.
• The Evaluation Committee shall be appointed by the Organizing Committee.
• The Organizing Committee will inform all applicants of the outcome of the selection process (either approved or rejected).
• The results of the assessment will not be published. The Organizing Committee will not be able to provide individualized responses for papers rejected.
• A maximum of two proposals from the same person will be accepted. In these cases, only one will be selected for presentation, whichever gets the best results from the Evaluation Committee.
• Each speaker to be included in the Agenda will enjoy a free pass to the event, and an additional free pass for a guest of their choice.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

On selecting the presentations and workshops for the XIII Project Management Congress, the Evaluation Committee will consider the following criteria:

• Experience of the speaker.
• Clarity in the description of the subject matter.
• Alignment with the key themes of the congress.
• Novelty of the proposed topic.
• Relevance of the topic for the profession of the Project Manager.
• Mechanisms of interaction and audience participation.
• Learning objectives.

DATES

• Begin of submissions: June 30, 2016.
• Deadline for submission of applications: August 15, 2016.
• Announcement of selected speakers: September 14, 2016.
• Delivery of PPT file with the paper for review: October 14, 2016.
• Request corrections to PPT (if necessary): October 28, 2016.
• Deadline for submitting the requested corrections to the paper: November 11, 2016.
• Date of the XIII Project Management Congress: November 24, 2016.

LANGUAGE

• Presentation and workshop proposals will be accepted in both, Spanish and English languages (English language will be accepted only when the native language of the presenter is other than Spanish).

VIDEO RECORDING

• The selected speakers must sign a document transfering their image rights (only during their participation on the event) free of charge to the PMI Madrid, Spain Chapter, which will make photos and perform video recording of the Coongress, and will either broadcast it or share it using social networks.
