Bio

The details of my life are quite inconsequential… very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving Manufacturing Quality Engineer from Glasgow with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for Scotch. My mother was a 33-year-old American violinist named Kathy. Though she didn’t have webbed feet. My father wouldn’t womanize, yet he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like aliens built the pyramids. Sometimes he would accuse my brother and I of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Belleville, piano lessons. In the spring we’d make meatloaf. When I was insolent I was placed in the corner and told to think about what I’d done. At the age of twelve I received my first Sony Walkman. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically ... it's breathtaking. I suggest you try it.

But seriously…

Mike is a .NET Developer with 10 years experience writing mainly web-based business applications. He works for Clear Measure, a Texas-based consulting firm, out of the comfort of his home office in Calgary. He enjoys tinkering with whatever is shiny and new, whilst drinking scotch. He has a 5-year-old son, whom he adores and spends, let’s face it… most of his time with. In the twilight hours of the night, when he’s not still coding, he likes to play board games with friends, or Clash Royale on his phone, or else he simply swipes endlessly through posts on Imgur. Seriously, that last one is an addiction and he probably needs counseling.
