Founded late in the 20th century (1997), the Kitchener Waterloo Software Quality Association is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, independent organization of software professionals who have an interest in quality and testing.
We aim to be a safe space where new speakers can feel comfortable developing their skills, while also including more experienced speakers for our members to learn from. Furthermore, we aim to encourage and support local talent, while also providing opportunities for our members to hear from speakers outside of our area.
We value inclusion of both new and established local companies at all of our events. We also welcome members and attendees in any software-related role, not only those who focus specifically on testing.Cambridge, ON, Canada
I'm Attending!November 14, 2020November 14, 20202020 PittAgile GatheringUTCConference Purpose and Goals
Building on the success of last year's Gathering, PittAgile is going to hold the **2020 PittAgile Gathering** on November 14th in Pittsburgh, PA. The goal of this event is to be an Agile workout. We want to help people build their Agile muscles by learning and building on skills they may already have and exploring relevant real world issues.
This year, we are looking to our local Agile community and the surrounding Southwestern PA area for folks to speak, facilitate activities and/or participate in panel discussions. You are NOT limited in ideas you can bring.
All submissions must be received by July 13th.
##A little background
Last year was the first attempt of PittAgile to put together a group function like this. We didn’t know what to expect. What we got was 110 attendees, 9 speakers attending a day full of excellent information and learning. Since PittAgile organizes this event as a service to the Agile community, the small cost imposed covered the food and facilities.
##The Fine Print
We are planning this to be an in-person event but will move to a virtual event should conditions warrant. Specific location information in Pittsburgh will be supplied to you later. We strive to keep costs low and as such, there are no funds available for travel or honorarium. **This is a notice for Speakers and Facilitators only. Do not sign up to attend using this form**
