About GopherconAfrica GopherconAfrica conference is brought to you by volunteer gophers together with nectarhub.io Gophercon Africa is a single-track event which makes our attendees experience all our speakers, live and onsite. Sometimes it’s difficult to choose between sessions and we have curated our talks for a single track.
Day 2 has been set aside for tutorials, Day 2 for talks and Day 3 for more talks and the community day.

CFP Description
Due to the competitive nature of the selection process, we encourage prospective speakers to submit their proposals as early as possible and in some cases submit more than one talk. We’re looking forward to receiving your best proposals from January 20, 2020, to February 20 2020
Anyone with any level of Go knowledge is a candidate for a great topic at this conference. As we will be hosting attendees of all levels of Go so we would be accepting speakers at varying levels to suit their needs. Our diversity statement and commitment also applies to our speaker call, in that your race, religion, gender, sexual orientation and all does not stop you from submitting talks.
First-time speakers are welcome as well. The founder of GopherconAfrica is an international speaker that has years of experience with curating TEDx talks so if you need help with prepping for your talk, help is on the way, just indicate that in your submission and we’ve got you!
Just in case you have some special needs to make you give smoother talks let us know as well.
Traditional talks are 30 minutes in lengths while lightning talks are 5.
