The community-super-powered JavaScript tech conference

LibertyJS is held annually in Philadelphia. Join the local JavaScript developer community at this two-day multi-track conference of JavaScript sessions, workshops, and our after conference social.

Organized by Philadelphia JavaScript Developers, the premier JavaScript user group with over 1000 members enthusiastic about JavaScript development, LibertyJS is the active nexus for the local Philadelphia JavaScript developer scene.

CFP Description

LibertyJS is coming into it’s sixth year and in order to make it the best year yet, we are looking for a diverse, inspiring, enlightening and entertaining crew of Speakers and Workshop Facilitators!

The conference will be held October 24th & 25th in Center City, Philadelphia at the National Museum of American Jewish History.

We will be accepting proposals until Wednesday, July 31st, at 11:59PM EST.

Submitting a Talk:

Please fill out the form below and choose the Talk Format

All talks will fill a 40 minute slot. When planning, if you would like to take questions, please factor this into the allotted minutes.

Submitting a Workshop:

Please fill out the form below and choose Workshop (95 min) under Talk Format

Workshops will be allocated 95 minutes. When planning your workshop, please factor in time for attendees to acquire any dependencies, possible internet lag, buffer for audience catch up, and questions at the end

Workshops can be on any JS topic of your choosing, but we are always looking for:

  • Progressive Web Apps
  • Optimization, Testing, and Performance
  • Functional programming
  • Tooling
  • Backend javascript
  • More advanced workshops
