The 2018 Little Rock Tech Fest Conference is the 6th year being hosted in Central Arkansas. This year’s conference will be on Oct 4th and 5th at the Little Rock StateHouse Convention Center.
We are primarily looking for 30-40 minutes sessions (with 10 minute Q&A afterwards) . We will be running 3 tracks at one time throughout both days. We are also looking at providing longer workshop sessions (1 to 1.5 hour) for more in-depth coverage of topics.
The LRTF Conference focus is to bring professional software developer topics that help developers continue their education and learn relevant changes in the software industry. We have two different formats that we will be filling with the CFP:
Hourly Session CFP - These are 40 min sessions with 10 minutes reserved for Q&A
Workshop Sessions CFP
- These sessions are 1.5hr workshops (or if longer..let's talk) for more in depth coverage of a topic.
- Possible Topics may include: Deep dive into:
- New Language Features
- Software Development Methodologies
- Soft-Skills for developers
- Web development
- Mobile development
- Cloud development
- Database development
- Agile/Kanban/Scrum methodologies
For the past five years, our audience is primarily made of up professional software developers who are focused on learning and improving their knowledge in the industry. First round of speaker notifications will be made on August 1st and later entries will be made by Sept. 7th. At this time, we do not offer travel-reimbursement. We do however reserve hotel rooms at a special rate, and once you accepted, we will provide you with additional details for the event as well as discounted hotel information.
