CFP Description

PyHo 2025 looks to recruit passionate speakers to present insightful and engaging talks at our two-day, single-track Python community conference!

What Weโ€™re Looking For

We welcome proposals for talks, workshops, and tutorials covering a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Fundamentals & Best Practices โ€“ Perfect and suitable for beginners looking to strengthen their skills and learn directly from experience.
  • Web programming โ€“ Django, Flask, HTMX, PyScript, and modern frontend-backend integration.
  • Data Science & Machine Learning โ€“ Python for analytics, AI/ML frameworks, real-world case studies.
  • Automation & DevOps โ€“ Scripting, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud deployment.
  • Open Source & Community โ€“ How to contribute, building Python communities, sustaining open-source projects.
  • Software Engineering Best Practices โ€“ Clean code, SOLID principles, testing, and maintainability.
  • Lightning Talks โ€“ Short, impactful presentations on Python trends, new libraries, or creative use cases.

Our primary audience consists of beginners to intermediate Python developers, with a few advanced professionals in attendance. We encourage proposals that:

  • Are beginner-friendly but offer practical takeaways for all skill levels.
  • Provide good enough real-world applications of Python in various industries.
  • Encourage interaction, learning, and hands-on experiences.
