Serverless Days TLV is developer-oriented conference about Serverless tech. We believe in show, don’t tell sessions, in which developers share their experience and lessons from actual projects.

We will host sessions about FaaS, architecture, security, performance and monitoring Serverless applications with the best speakers we can find.

Serverless Days Tel Aviv is about content for seasoned cloud developers and entrepreneurs. We will skip introductory tutorials and hello, worlds and focus on lessons learned by local and international users with extensive experience.

Serverless Days TLV is member of Serverless Days (AKA JeffConf), a family of events around the world fostering communities around serverless tech. We follow and enforce the Serverless Days Code of Conduct.

CFP Description

Content, Content, Content

Thanks for submitting a session to Serverless Days TLV!

Remember the old saying that the real action in the conference happens outside the auditorium?

Well, not in this conference.

Dry runs and practice

After we pick the sessions, we will have two weeks of dry runs, where submitters give their sessions to each other and get valuable feedback. The submitters will get advice from professional speakers, and we hope to feature a crash-course in public speaking by a professional expert to all submitters, as a token of appreciation for their effort.

Timeline

  • May 3: CFP ends
  • May 6: Speaker announcement
  • May 6-May 20: Dry runs, mutual feedback, public speaking sessions
  • May 23: Serverless Days TLV

Language

Sessions are generally in English. We can have one or two exceptions in special cases; if you strongly prefer Hebrew, please state that in the CFP notes.

Video recording

All sessions are video recorded, edited, and uploaded to the web (YouTube and other sites).

Requirements

We ask for a fairly detailed session outline, including a video description for new speakers. This is intended to give the moderation team all the data they need in order to evaluate the session, without having to communicate with each submitter. If you have any problems with one of the fields, please drop us a line at tlv@serverlessdays.io.
