SeattleJS Conference

What:

SeattleJS, Seattle’s JavaScript user group, is hosting a 2-day, single track conference about all things JavaScript. Hacking on a node hardware project? We want to hear about it. Using React Native in production? We want to hear about that, too. From enterprise scale to proof of concept, from top of stack all the way down, SeattleJS conference is about what can be done using the power of JavaScript.

When:

Thursday and Friday, August 10th and 11th, with a two day training option on Tuesday, August 8th and Wednesday, August 9th.

Who:

SeattleJS Conference will have keynotes, 40 minute talk slots, and lightning talks. We aim to represent the widest range of people and interests rocking JavaScript.

Where:

In the heart of the Fremont neighborhood, we’ve rented the beautiful Fremont Foundry for our event. In its former life, it was a foundry for massively huge statues. Today, it’s an upscale event space with a beautiful patio for lunch.

Why:

Because the beloved regional CascadiaFest/CascadiaJS isn’t happening this year, we wanted to make sure that huge void in the community was filled. We hope to continue the tradition of a summer conference, but in-city rather than destination.
