The DevOps Collective, in conjunction with the organizers of PSConf Asia and PSConf Day UK, would like to announce a new event…the Global PowerShell & DevOps Conference – Online. With the cancellation of major PowerShell-related conferences including the PowerShell + DevOps Global Summit and PSConf Asia, all three organizing groups were looking at doing some sort of mini-events. Instead of three groups working independently of each other on three different virtual events (all of which would have the same audience), we decided to pool our resources and together produce a 24-hour live stream of the best PowerShell & DevOps content that we can find.

CFP Description

Sessions

We look for an abstract that’s compelling and makes us want to see your session - so spend time writing a great abstract! We want sessions that offer real-world usability combined with “WOW, nobody talks about THAT” awesomeness. We want to see the code

If you have any doubts about the suitability of a particular session, please contact us via content@powershell.org or #conferences - we’re always happy to discuss proposed sessions.

We are open to presentations across the entire ecosystem that has been built around Automation or the various DevOps tools. This includes Microsoft and Linux platforms, all cloud platforms, as well as third party products.

Session length

It is up to each organizing committee to decide what their schedule looks like. We are accepting sessions ranging from 15-45 mins.

Language

Please note all sessions are to be delivered in English.

Live vs Pre-Recorded

The Presenter will need to decide if they want to pre-record their session or if they want to give it live. Please take into account your equipment and internet access that you have available. All we ask is that if you decided on a pre-recorded session that you log into twitch during your presentation to answer questions. We can also have for a live Q&A as well.
