Theme for 2026: The Next Frontier
We’re at the edge of The Next Frontier, where technology isn’t just advancing it’s truly taking off. Just like the ancient legend of the Golem, brought to life to protect but challenging its creator, today’s smart systems are striving for autonomous self-improvement. This isn’t merely evolution, it’s a revolutionary leap towards a profound, perhaps singular, change where our creations gain unprecedented autonomy. As powerful systems become omnipresent, vigilance is critical. This frontier demands we anticipate and fix problems before they begin. BSides Prague 2026 invites you to explore how to secure this unfolding future. We’ll draw wisdom from our past, from stories like our own Golem, to guide us. Join us to collectively define and protect what lies just beyond the horizon and where else but in Prague, the very place that gave the world the word “robot”?
Building on the success of our 2025 event, we are ready to raise the bar even higher. This year, we’ve prepared two days packed with extraordinary talks and side content + two days of workshops prior the event. Unparalleled networking opportunities all enhanced with exciting side quests and unique events. Our commitment to bringing the community together has reached a new level.
Be part of the next big leap today by attending BSides Prague 2026, in a city rich with history that has witnessed many such transformative moments. Join us and peak what the next frontier looks like.
CFP Description
Come and share the hidden gems on the B-side of the record. Or just submit your idea and join us to discuss a topic you believe could spark interest and benefit the community.
As a community-driven conference, BSides Prague 2026 encourages a wide range of talks. We welcome any research related to general computer security, whether or not it aligns directly with the conference theme. All submissions will be carefully reviewed.
We are particularly interested in content that fits into the following formats:
-
Talks (40 minutes and 20 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A):
This year, we’re hosting talks across both days of the event, providing plenty of opportunities to present. We’re also adding an extra 5 minutes to each session for Q&A and transition time. -
Workshops (typically 60 minutes or longer):
We are seeking workshops on general security, hardware and IoT hacking, hands-on AI topics, or soft skills. This year most of the workshops will be two days pre-event. -
Additional content:
If you have any other crazy idea or extra content like running village, organizing CTF, just don’t hesitate to submit it here or contact us directly at cfp@bsides.cz
The conference language is English. BSides events are known for being welcoming and open, catering to both experienced and new speakers. For selected speakers travelling from abroad, we offer accommodation coverage and a few other perks. However, we regret that we are unable to cover travel expenses.
Even if your talk isn’t selected for the main track, don’t worry! If your submission is interesting but doesn’t fit into the primary schedule, we may invite you to present a shortened version during our evening lightning talks. Additionally, we encourage you to submit any creative or “non-standard” ideas to us at cfp@bsidesprg.cz.
So, what are you waiting for? If you have something to share or discuss, submit your proposal and join us in Prague in April 2026 for Security BSides. A community of like-minded people will be waiting for you!
