Targeting Quality 2022 is located at the Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre just off highway 401 in Cambridge, ON, Canada on Monday, Sept 26 (Full Day Workshops) and Tuesday, Sept 27 (Session Presentations and Lightning Talks), 2022.

We are currently planning on this being an in-person event however will continue to monitor Public Health recommendations and agree to make a final decision in June 2022. If we do not proceed with an in-person event we may reach out to have you speak virtually at one of our monthly KWality Talks.

Founded late in the 20th century (1997), the Kitchener Waterloo Software Quality Association is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, independent organization of software professionals who have an interest in quality and testing.

We aim to be a safe space where new speakers can feel comfortable developing their skills, while also including more experienced speakers for our members to learn from. Furthermore, we aim to encourage and support local talent, while also providing opportunities for our members to hear from speakers outside of our area.

We value inclusion of both new and established local companies at all of our events. We also welcome members and attendees in any software-related role, not only those who focus specifically on testing. We enjoy hearing from a diverse set of perspectives so we welcome speakers and attendees of all backgrounds and lived experiences at our events.

CFP Description

We are currently planning on this being an in-person event however will continue to monitor Public Health recommendations and agree to make a final decision in June 2022. If we do not proceed with an in-person event we may reach out to have you speak virtually at one of our monthly KWality Talks.

Do you have something to say about software quality? Have you tried a strategy, tool, technique, process, or team structure that worked well (or not so well!)? Do you have in-depth knowledge to share on a concept, technique or process?

We want to hear from you! All are welcome to submit ideas for presentations or full day workshops. You may submit more than one proposal; please use a separate submission for each idea. We are looking for presentations that are content-rich and free of marketing and sales promotions.

This year we are accepting proposals for:

  • Full day workshops to be held on Monday, September 26
  • 45 minute session talks to be held on Tuesday, September 27
  • 15 minute lightning talks to be held on Tuesday, September 27
